Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Can't believe how well I've been doing with my food. I've reached my goal of eating under 1550 calories a day [watching carbs and fat] for all but 2 days in the past two weeks. Yeah! But I have not lost a thing. In fact I am gaining like crazy this week! I have been feeling extremely gassy and, *umm* constipated for about the same amount of time (at the same time) so maybe that has something to do with it? I've upped my fruits, veggies and fiber one's for the latter but the gas has me uncomfortable all the time - I can't find the culprit after trying to eliminate one at a time. It has me feeling so miserable that I have lately been tempted to make bad choices just to relieve the pressure and give in to the voice in my head that says, "Go for it, you ain't losin anyways." Sooner or later I'm afraid I will give in. Hell, my man is going to kick me out of the bed soon if this continues, lol. Willpower, I need you now.

Drink water...lot of water. It will help, I swear. And maybe cut back on the Fiber One...

Sounds like you need protein. Who told you 1550 calories? Also, look at how much salt is in your food and refined sugar. I'm not talking the salt you add, I'm talking about the "sodium" in your food.

My trainer told me 1200-1300 calories a day for weight loss.

Good luck!

1300-1550 for me because of my weight - it actually, when watching fiber, is about equal to the amount of WW pts you get. My average daily calorie intake is about 1380-ish but 1550 is my personal "limit". My nutritionist told me that 2000 is my maintenance amount. I sure wish I was working again so I could ask her to help me out here! I really cut down on my processed foods so my sodium is quite normal (1500-2000). And I don't do the sugar thing much. But protein - yeah, I think I'm losing on that too. I'll keep on the water, too. I'm at 6 glasses a day, sometimes 7 . Thanks!
