Week 9 Preggers Weigh In

Thanks for all of the congratulations! I am in my 9th pregnancy week. I still plan on doing my weekly weigh-ins to manage my weight. When I conceived I weighed 225.1 and then averaged 226.5 for 4 weeks after that so I am going to use 226.5 as my baseline. Yesterday I weighed in at 229.6. This puts me up 3 pounds. MIA...but have good news!

I'm 8 weeks pregnant! I know it is early to put this out there but yesterday I had an ultrasound and saw my baby and its heartbeat! No one knows except for the BF and a close girlfriend. I am going to wait a few more weeks to tell anyone else. It will also win me some time to figure out how I am going to tell my mom since as some of you that have read my blog here and on WeightWatchen my mom is not a fan of the BF. Still around...and about to start Week 9 of C25k!!!!!

That's right, ladies. I have gone through 8 weeks of C25k! Tomorrow I start 30 minute runs! This past week has been 28 minute runs and the week before were 25 minute runs. This program has surely given me some endurance. I have been doing all these runs on the treadmill. On Saturday I tried it outside and was only able to get in 23 minutes of running. C25k Week 5, Day 3 Complete!

I ran for 20 minutes straight and wasn't dying in the end!!! WOW! This is a first!! This c25k program really does work. My body is changing...I especially see it on my knees and thighs. The fat in those two areas is definitely trimming down. From a weight perspective, my weight hasn't changed. I had some things going on that had me eating a bit more. But, I'm back on track. C25k Week 5, Days 1 and 2 Complete!

I ran for two straight 8 minutes!! WOW!! Sunday W5D3 has me running for 20 minutes straight...yikes! Am loving the way my body is feeiing and looking. I am not dropping a lot of weight but my body is really shaping up. How are you doing with your workouts?

Hey there! Thanks for checking on me! I have no internet right now... my husband and I are splitting the cost for wireless w/ our neighbor (who happens to be gone for the summer...) and it just stopped working 2 weeks ago. Hi there I am in your single boat. I have been with my bf for 3 years in oct...no ring i am 39 and I just had endomisios removed. My doc has to me to get cracking and he wants to sind me to a fertility spec. I am not sure how old you are, but I was to scream from the hills for women in their 30s (30-35) hope to it. Wish me luck my poor BF ...I bought a ovulation kit and he has to be at the ready.

I'm watching HGTV right now too. I love the blue they're using. I did my extra bedroom in blue and now I'm wishing I had done my bedroom in it. Maybe HGTV will inspire me to redecorate. I wonder how many colors redecorating burns?!

I've found if I bargain with myself that I walk more. If I'm really not in the mood to walk, I'll tell myself, just go once around the block, then you can stop. I always find that I go more than I intended. Last night my goal was 30 minutes, and I ended up going an hour.

Congrats on working that activity in...keeps my energy up when the weeks get hard...if it wasn't for my activity level that last three weeks of travel I was on would have been a disaster for sure. I wanted to stop by and say hello...since the move I haven't had a chance to catch up with everyone from the other blog. Keep posting I love to read about what you are doing :)

Thanks for the comment. Here's the link to the nike+ system I purchased with the sensor shoe pouch. I used it again last night and again loved it! There are many different shoe pouches available. This just happens to be the one I chose. I'm sure they will all work about the same. You do have to have a nano for the nike+ thingy to plug into though. Hope this helped, if you need anything else let me know.
