Why Am I So Fat?

I’ve been gaining weight faster than a new born puppy. And I’m thinking why why why. Here’s why...I ate 3,360 calories today. Well that was a shock and finally I feel I was whacked with a clue by 4. About time really.

I'm so stressed

And have been ignoring my health. Stuff at uni has me at breaking point and I don't know if I'll continue. I'm not sure if I'll carry on as I have and put study before everything or stop and take care of me, my family and my health. And no...there is no middle ground :(

Gym Rat?

Well just a baby gym rat at the moment but I’m trying. Last week I did 4 hours at the gym, mostly on the treadmill. I’ve worked up to an hour of walking two minutes, running two minutes. That is do-able and won’t kill me like just plain running would if I tried it. Its great exercise too burning up over 600 calories in the hour and strangely the hour doesn’t take forever. I haven’t run off and completely thrown my healthy goals away but blogging about them has totally gone out the window. There should be more time to post too as I’m on uni holidays for the next month but my life is a little taken over by an arts organization I’ve set up with four other artists. We’ve come together to help promote and advance art in Western Australia and in two weeks will be hosting our first craft market. Jacquie, thank you so much for your comment on why I feel so hungry all the time. Someone else commented that even though I mentioned I rarely eat carbs, I then list carbs like yogurt, banana etc. I never thought of these things as "carbs" so now, I am going to try and change my diet around a little to see how I might be able to combat this constant hunger. It might be me affecting my blood sugar. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it a great deal...
Now to read your post about good all day and then what happens at night...I am the same. I want to hear what you have to say!

Thanks for the advise for my Outback dinner. I ordered a water as soon as we got there, and another when my dinner came, I did eat all of my meal, but didn't feel overly full. I even had dessert (I saved most of my points from the day, eating only 0 or 1 pt stuff throughout the rest of the day)

Hey Jacquie! That's cool that you're an illustrator too! Yes, I've read her blog! I've read so many different blogs and instructional sites on-line for "how to become an illustrator"... it's funny. I've probably spent more time doing that than working on my portfolio. I bet it is hard to find time to work with a baby around. I joined the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and that is helping me make some progress.. Here's my etsy site- you can check out some of my stuff. LOL Thanks for the comment. I know those pics I posted arnt that great. They gross me out a lot actually. But I guess thats the point. At this point, I dont care what people on Weight loss sites think. Because we're all in it together. But theres no way in hell you'd see those on my myspace or something. LOL!!!
