About Me:
I am a 28-year old Speech Pathologist/Mother of an adorable 1-year old boy. I have been married almost five years. After having my son, I had about 60 lbs to lose (only 20 of which can I blame on him). I joined Weight Watchers in January 2007 and hit my goal of 150 lbs in July 2007. Since then I have maintained right around 145 lbs. Over the summer, I fell off plan and have gained about 5 lbs back. It is only 5 lbs, but it really bothers me. I am starting this so that I will be more accountable, and hopefully can work through some of my emotional eating issues. I am looking to make new friends who can understand all of my obsessions, triumphs, and especially struggles.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone, It has bit awhile since I was on the blogs. This was a whirlwind week (well half a week), but I am happy to report my Thanksgiving vacation starts in 1 hour. Yippee!!! My Mom is cooking dinner tomorrow, and we have some family coming in so it should be a nice day. I don't really have plans for the rest of the weekend, so that will be nice. My Baby is 2 today

I can't believe how fast time goes. I was doing okay, but then I heard a birthday wish for him on our local radio and I just lost it. My baby is no longer a baby. Wahhhhh!!!! I was originally going to take today off work, but decided to take yesterday off for a state football championship. So here I am work. Pregnancy symptoms

Hi all, Well the pregnancy symptoms have started to set in. I can't even get up and get ready anymore without eating IMMEDIATELY! I get so dizzy and weak if I don't eat. And the hunger seems to hit me in a few seconds..so I better be prepared with a healthy snack or I am screwed. ha ha I am sure I experienced this with my first pregnancy, but I don't remember. Busy weekend and exciting news

Hi all, What a crazy weekend. Well I am happy to report that my alma mater and the town I currently live in won state volleyball Saturday morning. Woo Hoo! They had an undefeated season, and the middle hitter just signed on to play at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Our boys now play in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on Thursday for the state football championship. I am going to Thursday off to go watch them. Just a quick food journal for today. B: Oatmeal (3 pts) S: Kashi TLC bar (2 pts) L: Leftover Chicken Chimichanga (5 pts) S: 2 servings crackers (6 pts)---I only ate b/c I was starving and I was putting off supper b/c my husband was late from work. I know, I did fly through the 190's!!! I keep thinking I'm still 193 and forgetting I'm at 190! Hopefully I can make it to the 180's next week. YES I watched the Biggest Loser, I can not believe she didn't get rid of Vicky the week before because it totally bit her in the butt! Sad. I was sooo happy Michelle and Renee stayed too, I really hope they make it to the final! But I'm worried about Michelle next week b/c she lost 10 this week, so next week will probably be a small loss. Yu know how they had "Thanksgiving" or whatever? Well I was thinking that had to have been filmed in the middle of the summer or something! Because the live finale is in a couple weeks and I know they get a couple months between when they leave the show and then the finale, so they had to have stopped filming at the end of summer. I just thought it was funny that it was a fake Thanksgiving! It couldn't have been filmed last year I don't think...

Hey name is Camryn. That's SO funny because my husband gets like 39 points! Crazy! And he's the exact same- hasn't been writing anything down. I'm getting so stressed about about it, lol. But I do think he's more aware about nutritional value as well.

I use to always wear Gap jeans but I just hate to spend the 60 bucks now if I want to lose more weight. Levis are too tight in my legs and if I go up a size then they are too big in my waist. I love Silver jeans but dont want to spend that either right now. But over Thanksgiving I will be going to Old Navy and probably Gap to get some jeans, I just am about 4 hours from both of those stores right now. In the UP of Michigan you dont have many choices! I might even get to go to Trader Joes for my first time ever if I end up going with my boyfriend for Thanksgiving. If that is the case I will forsure have to get everyones opinion on what I should buy! I get more excited about food than clothes....sad in a way, but good too I guess...

Hey! I am good just got home from class. I have been so busy and a busy weekend ahead of me, Amber's baby shower, house, research papers, studying! I walked/jogged M-W but not today or tomorrow. I am so sore I just can't do it. I need a break. The scale is still down thankfully, so I will weigh in Sat. I even ate out three times this week for lunch and had healthy choices each time, twice was subway with friends. That's an improvement alone right there. I think I can tell a difference in my thighs a little bit, the cellulite seems to be somewhat getting better, lol. I have lost an inch in my waist.

Okay for starters I just looked at your pictures and you look AMAZING!

Also thanks for telling me about the C25K.... I just may have to try it. See for me I can run for more than 90 seconds at a time so I feel like I should just keep pushing myself and go longer, but you think I should really just stick to the 90 seconds like it starts with? I just get so overwhelmed with all this stuff but want to start running. My boyfriend is on the college track team here, and then there is me who seems to be unable to run.... Anyways, thanks again for your post and if you have any hints please do send them my way!!! :)

Sure, it was just a simple green salad!

Spinach leaves, dried cranberries and slivered almonds. I put a fat free poppyseed dressing over the top and had gorgonzola on the side (I'm Vegan, so that was for everyone else!). Everyone RAVED about it, but it was so easy! Nice and light :)

I know!!! It just goes on to further prove though that slow and steady is the way to go. Changing your life to be healthy is what matters in the long run, not rapid weight loss!
