About Me:
I'm 28 years old, and I don't remember ever feeling good about myself. AsI've gotten older, those feelings of insecurity have only grown..along with my weight. Luckily, I found a wonderful man and we'll be getting married in May o9. We have a beautiful and spunky 3 1/2 year old, and she is my reason for dragging my sorry butt out of bed in the morning. I want to get health for myself, but mostly for her. I don't want her to inherit my poor body image, and I want to be able to run and chase her at the playground without stopping to catch my breath.

Dinner party... dum dum DUUUUM!!

Tonite we're having our a couple of friends over for a potluck supper. Probably the weirdest mix of food ever served at one time, but hey, we're a weird group of people :) We're contributing Jerk chicken (Rob took the skin off of 3 thighs for me ), spinach and feta mini quiches (w/egg beaters), brownie cupcakes w/ choc. fudge icing (sf.ff. pudding mix, milk, ff. cool whip for frosting), and salad. How did I get so fat?

I rarely get to my daily points for the day... and while I am eating better, I don't feel as though I am eating less. I'm afraid that having too low of points for the day will stall my weightless, but I don't want to eat for the sake of eating, if I'm not hungry (even if it is to bring my points up). I don't eat that much...how did I ever get so fat?!?! Today has been good...

Done fairly well today, except for forgetting to eat lunch before my afternoon meeting. I was starving. They had BBQ chicken and pasta salad and cookies.. but I was good. Drank a Crystal light and chewed my gum. As soon as it was over I rushed home to make my veggie burger. I have a question though.. should I add up all of the components..ie. bread burger, cheese and the take the points, or do the points for all foods seperately. Cupcakes...

Chloe NEEDED cupcakes..NEEDED them (her exact words). Now, I can lie to my self and say, "ok, hunny..we'll make cupcakes. I just won't eat any". But I know that even if I somehow make it through the day cupcake free, as soon as she goes to bed, I'll munch through 2 or 3. So.... thanx for the comment, and yea sweets are horrible, but you cant just completly take them away or you will most likly want to rebel and then over indulge. So having some is okie, just in moderation is the key which is what I finally learned how to do to.
