37 Days till Wedding Dress-2.5lbs Lost!

Two days down.....37 to go. I am going to use this as the official wedding dress countdown. I ate clean for the past two days, although today I had a major chocolate/candy moment (okay hours actually!). PMS got the best of me but I pulled myself back into reality.....I wrote down what I ate and I will keep tracking my points. I have exercised both days and will run again tonight....next, bring on the water! I can do this!

Starting Over

Okay..enough is enough! I have spent the last month learning to "love thy self" and now it is time to put things into action! I have a plan...weight watchers...I have a book, lots of healthy food and a great outlook. I will post everyday, I will write down what I eat (no matter what!!) and I will weigh myself regularly. My wedding dress fits but I have room to make it smaller and 6 weeks to go.....plus fall is around the corner; my favorite time of year and I can't wait to go shopping! Goodbye 1… Continue

Do we sabotage ourselves?

I had a great week last week. I lost 4.2lbs, I exercised, I genuinely felt good....then the sabotage began....first I had a huge breakfast/lunch at a restaurant...eggs, cheese, toast, peanut butter followed by a large coffee (water, what water??) That was 15 points in one sitting...then the rest of the day was downhill. Weekend, what weekend?

This weekend has only lasted about 10 hours....worked all day saturday, had saturday night and sunday morning to play, then it's laundry, meal planning, and back to work to catch up for a couple of hours before Monday...where did the weekend go?? A Good Run and a Loss!!

I got home from work last night after a long (somewhat stressfull) day and I was tired....so the first thing I start to look for is food. The small salty kind that you can eat while at the computer, talking on the phone...we all know the kind! However after a handful of goldfish (2pts!) I decided to put on my runners and hit the road! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I wish I had been serious about loosing weight before my wedding, but I wasn't. I guess I never have to worry about saying, "If I was only the size I was when I got married..."

Hmmm....you are right....I do my really long runs on the weekends and I do tend to be starving all weekend because of it. I also usually only run about 45 mins a day during the week....and then 1-1 1/2 hours on Sat and Sun. Maybe it has to do with the time of day. I run in the afternoon all week but in the mornings on the weekend...how about you? Do you run at different times? I need to come up with a filling snack I can eat after I run that will keep me from munching =)

Thanks for the support! I am also in the process of moving and organizing my first house and planning my wedding. I am getting married in November and have a lot to plan. Its a little stressful but I am finding blogging is really helping. Everyone here is really supportive. GOOD LUCK!

Hey Sherra! Thanks for commenting on my blog. The forum I go to often does challenges quite a bit. Have you been to BCB. If not it is an awesome forum for wwers. I feel like the challenges help motivate me. I can reach a goal and feel motivated without having to constantly have my eye on the final goal, which is a long way away.
