About Me:
OK...so I am 27. I have a son who is the joy of my life Travis. He is 5. I am grossly overweight. I enjoyed reading another girl's post it's about f*ing time. I have been overweight since I was about 9 years old. I want to be the skinny girl inside of me...I think I ate her ha ha. I am adventerous, loyal, loving, patient, and kind. I will graduate finally in December with a BA in Elementary Education. I don't want to be a fat teacher!!! I want to get to the weight that my DL says, 150 lbs. I now that I can do it, but I need support. I don't get much from the skinny family. So I will blog and see if that helps.

I am weird...

I cannot start anything in the middle of a month or in the middle of a week. I am joining WW on Sunday June 1st at 7:30 AM. I like that it is the beginning of a calendar week. I know the first goal of WW is 10% of your weight, for me that would be 24 lbs. I will be honest, which I am not most of the time when it comes to my weight, but I weigh 243 lbs. I am 5"3' tall so my "healthy" weight should be 135, but my goal is 150 lbs, so I have 93 lbs to loose. I would like to do it by this time next year. I would love to go to my college comencment under 200 lbs. I know I can do it if I am serious. The commencment is the end of January, beginning of February. If anyone has any tips please share with me!!!! I need all the support I can get.

Falling off the wagon...

Well I haven't kept track of what I ate since wednesday...I'm not proud of it either. I'm filling out my journal for today. I also lost 0.2 lbs not much of a loss. I just need to get back on track. I'm glad I didn't gain though either. well it's late so i'm going to bed.

We are totally broke and I am scrounging the house for food for my entire family to eat until Thursday, so bear with me it's not the healthiest, but it's still in my point range. I wish I had more fruits and veggies right now, but I don't. (I mean seriously we have $2.38 left until Thursday) LOL …

Official Week Seven Weigh In

So the official weigh in is 228.4 lbs. That is a loss of 4.2 lbs this week and a total loss of 18.6 lbs. I am so excited that I have learned how to make healthy decisions about what I eat. I still have something sweet every day, it is my weakness. I have been doing really well though. I can't wait till I make my first goal of 10%. It's been a while since i've posted...

O.K. I'm so sorry that it has been a while since I posted. I had my 27th birthday last week which cut my WW points down by 1 pt a day. That's ok though. I bought a WW personal scale today. I couldn't believe what it said when I stepped on it. It said 228.6 that means that I have lost about 19 lbs. I can't believe it. I am only 6.3 lbs away from my first goal. Hey Tabicat, I'm fairly new and doing WW too. This place is awesome, the people here are wonderful and Roni has all this really good info. A lot of us have shared similar issues with food and body image. They struck a cord in me too. There are so many people who have been successful, they are truly inspirational. It seems like we are all "locking arms" together in a sense in a fight for our health. I love this place. We're all here for each other in our transformation journeys.

Hey there Tabicat!! Welcome to the community...you have come to the right place for sure. I was in you place not that long ago....I had 110 pounds to loose and I still have more than 30 to go...but I didn't look at the entire thing...I made small goals and took small steps. Choose only one or two things for a goal and once they become part of your life them move onto something else...don't try to change too much at once. Also, ask for help...every single one of us has been where you are right now and we all know just how you feel....so ask...we will be glad to offer help. Good Luck and I hope to talk to you soon....remember you are not in this alone and you don't have to be perfect....
