About Me:
Update as of 7/3/08: I found out I was pregnant. The whole weight loss this is on hold until March 2009. I am pretty excited, but wish I would have reached more goals during my weight loss before becoming pregnant. I will just have to work that much harder during and after! I wish you all luck and will still be checking in!

I joined Weight Watchers back in January of 2007. My goal had been to go from my starting weight of 202.5lbs to 140lbs by my son's first birthday (9 months to do this). Well here I am today still trying to lose most of it. My current weight is 177.5. I was doing really great in the beginning and since September have been fighting the rest. Not because its a plateau, but because of my own motivation. I joined a gym back in March but haven't seen too much for results, because I continue to beat myself up and eat terribly. That is why I am here! To get that extra support I need to get back on track and lose this extra weight.

Goals & Weight Tracking

Originally my goal was to hit 140lbs by my son's 1st birthday (Sept 07), well obviously I am not there and if anything I am back tracking! My new goal is 140-145 by his 2nd birthday (Sept 08) 16 weeks. That is a pretty lofty goal considering my progress over the last few months, but nonetheless its my goal.

We are also hoping to try for a 2nd child in the near future, so I would like to drop at least 20lbs before that happens-so I don't have SO much to lose after the baby would be born.

* Exceed goal of 400 min of cardio
*Complete the list of exercises 3-4 times per week
*See overall toning by the end of the challenge
*Lose inches, especially in legs!

Weekly preggo check-in :)

For lack of a better title...that is truly what it is! So 6 weeks, baby is the size of a lentil bean (only about 1/4 inch long now-TINY still), but the heartbeat develops this week (though we won't be able to hear it quite yet). A little update...

I told everyone I would check in and update you guys on how I am doing. Its only been a week, but I think weekly updates will be fine! No one has to read them :) But for those that do.... The results are in....

I AM officially pregnant! Crazy I know! It happened so fast I am still in shock. This will be DH and my second child, due sometime in March. I am about 12lbs lighter then I was with Logan, so that is positive (though I wish it was less). YIPPEE! The test on Monday was positive, no TOM today and I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to get the stats/confirm with them. Making excuses already....

and I don't even know if I am pregnant or not! Craziness! Its like knowing I could be is sending signals to my body saying "its ok to eat whatever you want". Ugh...my lunch consisted of a pizza wrap, a couple baked chips and then a short time later a small plate of chips n cheese! crazy! Not to mention the 2 pieces of licorice I grabbed on the way out! Weigh in results....

Well I am happy to report that the scale said 178.0 this morning. So with all the seriously horrible eating I did over this past vacation weekend, that is only a 0.5lb gain! I can definitely live with that. Also it is the week TOM is coming so that could even mean I didn't gain at all! I am so happy. I haven't pigged out or drank like that in a very long time, so I guess I didn't do as bad after all. on Friday we had brats/burgers, I had a lite 1pt bun. Thanks for the blog comment. I am still working out exactly how I'm going to do all this, but I am using my past experience with WW as a guide. My doctor told me not to go over 1800 calories a day, but that has been no problem so far. I've had so much morning sickness that I'm really not eating very much at all. I just get so nauseated that I can eat very much or very often. And when I do eat it has to be something light or it makes me sick. I have another appointment on the 22nd and I'm going to talk to her more indepth about my eating. I feel like she wanted the 1800 calorie limit to be for later on in the pregnancy when I'm eating every hour and always starving. Honestly, 1800 calories is a lot for me. Too many in my opinion, but there's no way I could eat that much right now anyway. I hope you can have a healthy pregnancy as well. Today is actually the first day of my 14th week, also the first day of my 2nd trimester. Keep me posted!

I've been trying to drink more water. My appetite has been only for stuff that has gone down and not come back up. I take millions of naps. I haven't been quite ready for activity yet, but am starting to feel better. Once I know I am past this sickness phase, I plan to exercise every day possible. I am due on January 25, 2009.

Yes, it was amazing! I am glad that someone else on here got preggers too. I was feeling bad for doing all this and then getting pregnant. However, due to my PCOS, I believe that my 30 pound weight loss contributed to my ability to get pregnant. This is my first pregnancy, so i am clueless about what my body is going through. I'll definitely have some weight loss work ahead of me once the baby is born.

Thanks so much for the comment. I could use any sort of support I can get. As of right now I'm doing Weight Watchers on my own. I am using the free trial for etools on the WW website I haven't decided but,I may continue to use it for awhile after the trial ends. Oly prob. hubby doesn't like be being on the computer much and the only computer time I have is of the evenings when I get home. So,most of the time I do my food journaling with my Ipod touch during the day and post it on my blog as soon as I can get Wi-Fi Connection which isn't till I get home at nite

I know exactly where you're coming from Kelly! I'm in the same boat when it comes to Moondance! We usually start drinking around 2:00 p.m (sometimes earlier if it's hot out!) and we all know how that affects your eating! And this year we're bringing blenders..since we'll have a generator! Yikes! Margaritas, Mudslides, Daquaris ...and then how about the baked foods and munchies everyone will bring! I best start working on my will power now!
