The Biggest Rut... Starting Over

my motivations really sucks... This blog is not for anyone to feel sorry for me, this is me feeling sorry for myself and i have no where else to let it all out.. so here i go. been awhile.. im back

so its been ages since ive bloged or updated.. its been a long summer.. i just finished my classes, that was hell.. and now i get a 1 month break before my fall semester begins. Im going to be doing 16 hrs which is pretty much suicide, lol but i need to get them all done. about my diet and excersice.. hmmm well ive been watching my diet and have been trying to do more activities but i dont really have a routine down just yet. Getting Sick...

Okie so you know what blew off my progress last time i tried to loose weight... Getting sick. I got super sick for like a whole month and when i finally got better, I had no interest in getting back on track, my motivation was gone. It was sooooooo hard to get back into things for some reason, i just did not want to do anything. Vacation Success!!

So we went to Mt. Rushmore and it was a total success on many levels. We stayed in Rapid city and did all there was to do between there and the big stone heads. We also went to a 'Mystery Area' which was really interesting and fun and just down right almost made me throw up. Gravity does not work quite right there and you have to hike up this very steep mountain to even get to the cabin. so it was a workout in itself. I recomend this experiance to anyone! it was very cool, you get to lean agian… Continue

Defeat The Temptation of Vacation Food...

Okie so I am leaveing tomorrow morning for my wedding anniversary trip to Rapid City SD. We will be seeing Mt. Rushmore, The Reptile Gardens, and this thing called the Mystery Area...We also have reservations for a $300 spa day, YAY ME and just relax. Hey...so did you join WW? I have been doing it on my own but I have also considered going to the meetings.......I bought the books on EBAY and have tried to do it alone..I have lost some weight..but I think there are more things to learn and the motivation would help...thanks for the add...can't wait to encourage each other...so do you work out? I know that is HUGE weakness of mine...I try and go a few days and then stop...which I know will help me.

Hey Jessica! Your question inspired me to write a blog post about if weight watchers is really worth the money or not. It's really a personal thing - I know some people who didn't really buy into WW and found success with other diet programs, but for me WW works. So take a look at my blog post and you can decide if it sounds like a good program for you or not.

I hear ya sista'. I am 5ft 1.5 inches tall. I do the elliptical mostly, but occasionally the stairmaster or walking on a treadmill. I am NOT a runner! The one thing I haven't focused much on is the weight training. I need to do more of it!!! I really think WW and the portion control has helped TREMENDOUSLY!

I agree with everyone about the motivation component... you can do ANYTHING you want, WW just helps you organize and stand up again when u fall!
