About Me:
21, College Student, love food a bit too much, trying weight watchers for the 2nd time around with my roomate! So here it goes with this blog adventure.

Life...sometimes I want to scream and cry about it. Other times i'm just so glad I live the life I lead.

In high school I was a great athlete I loved and lived sports. Field Hockey and Lacrosse all year round... 7 days a week, 2 hours at practice and 1 hour at the gym, working my butt off. I wasn't small and I had the scale was telling me I weighed a lot more than I looked. Now my body is catching up with the scale. It scares me because I don't want to be overweight, I want to be healthy and lively and want to love doing a lot of activity.

Being at school these past three years I've developed a great enthusiasm for leadership, politics, community service, but not so much exercise and eating well. After I work out I feel so great and feel like, as cliche as it sounds, I have a new lease on life and i'm ready to conquer the world...but getting to the gym...that's the biggest battle.

I hope that maybe blogging, keeping myself more accountable, think through my choices more I will be able to motivate myself to get to the gym everyday and love it like I did in high school. We will see...

I tried weight watchers my sophomore year and was pretty successful, I lost about 15ish lbs and I looked better. Then summer came around and I threw caution to the wind with my eating habits and gained that 15 and some more.

Now here I am entering my Senior year, hoping to go to enter senior week and graduation lean and healthy...and most importantly happy with myself...not so much the inner workings because I am happy with that but the outerworkings, I want to be happy with that.

I really want weight watchers to change my lifestyle this time for good rather than for six months and let the weight inch back on again. This time it's for good.

Goals, Commitments and Timeline

I really like the idea of putting my goals, commitments and a time line on my blog. I mean if having everyone see what you want to do and accomplish isn't accountability I don't know what is. hehe

Commitment Goals
-Drinking 6 8oz. servings a day
-Going to the gym
-Being conscious of my snacking
-When I'm bored...read or do something more productive than eat
-Eat when I am hungry
-Go to meetings once a week, track points every day, blog as much as I can

Personal Goals
-Be able to run 3 miles in under 30 minutes by late October
-Get back into field hockey more vigorously (club leagues, etc)
-Not force myself to go to the gym but want to go!
-Learn how to cook even better and more healthy

Weight Loss Time line
-15lb weight loss by Sept. 3
-Reach 10% (22lbs) by October 8th
-Fit in to Semi-Formal Dress (Size 14) by the dance (December)

Rewards
-For every 5lbs ---> go tanning or pedicure
-10% reached --> some new clothes and a pandora charm
-40lbs weight loss ---> buy designer jeans!
-Lifetime (142lbs) ---> vacation!

Weight Watchers weigh in (week 12)

Good morning everyone! I hit my goal of 15lbs this week!!! I'm very excited and I hope I can continue on a consistant weight loss path rather than the normal lose one week, gain the next. Let's see how this week goes, I have a cold right now and it's sucking the life out of me. Classes started this week and I really haven't had the time to sleep and get better. I'm running on fumes right now. Hopefully i'll find sometime to get back to normal! Have a good day everyone!!!

WW Weigh In (Week 11)

So today was rough for me. I was hoping to attain my 15lb goal but unfortunately I gained .8, I don't know what to do really. Every other week I gain. I try to do a bunch of different things but its always the same. When I first tried WW, I did the same thing. I really don't want to think my body is naturally going to do it because it's going to be really discouraging to me. What do i do?

WW Weigh In (Week 10)

So today was a good day! I was a bit discouraged from last week but I really didn't let it get to me. So today I weighed in and lost 4.0 lbs, which brings my total to 14.2lbs lost Next week is my 15 lb goal and it's definitely attainable! WW Weigh In (Week 9)

It has been a really busy week! On Tuesday, my roommate and I went to the evening meeting for our weigh in because we had to be in the city for work early Wednesday morning. I hate evening meetings, I feel like I can't eat and that doesn't help! I gained .4, which I know isn't a big deal but it can get discouraging especially when I tried harder this weekend then any other weekend to stay on track. WW Weigh In (Week 8)

It's been a crazy exhausting week. Today was my weigh in and I lost 2.8 lbs!!! So all together I have lost 10.6 lbs! I am very excited and so happy I worked really hard this week exercising and making sure to get all my healthy guidelines fulfilled each day!
