About Me:
This is such a little box to describe all the wonderfulness that is me...

Well, I wish that I could say that I've been overweight my entire life and just couldn't figure out how to lose the extra 50 pounds I've been carrying around. Unfortunately, I've lost those 50 pounds and gained 60 pounds in return. I'm struggling to lose weight and be healthy and trying to love myself no matter what the scale says at the same time all while setting a good example for my young daughter who, at age 6, has not so subtly suggested that I would be prettier if I lost weight.
Workout Philiosophy:
I stay active doing everyday activities, I'm a gym rat ALL the way, I'm a Running Fanatic, I love lifting weights

One Month Down, about 600 More to Go

I'm down 6.2 lbs this month. Yay me! I had to measure my bathroom floor last night because we discovered if you moved the scale more than an inch, the weight would go up or down by a pound or two. Let's just say that if I had a marble and placed it by the shower, it could easily make it to the linen closet. Nutrition Goals

As I mentioned in my previous post, I tracked for a full week. *Does the happy dance.* And while I'm not thrilled with my weight progress thus far, the journal has really given me a huge opportunity to eat better. This week I was within my target calorie range. Tracking and Frustrated

Well, to start, yay me! I have tracked for 7 days straight. Obviously, I'm not done with Sunday yet, but I should average about 1750 calories a day. Seeing as how this is roughly my target, I was pretty happy with myself for the week. Most of my food was planned ahead of time and most of it was healthy. Week 3 Completed, Boo-yah!

Yay me! So, my eating for the past two weeks has sucked pretty bad but at least I've been consistent with my running. I need to get back on track with my journal. I journal almost religiously when I'm eating well, but there is something about writing down a 1600 calorie burger that my mind goes, "Why bother?" Well,I currently have some nikes but,not sure if I want to get nikes this time around or not. I've not ran much in my current nikes. I just began running a little bit this week. I'm having to work my way up though so it maybe awhile before i'm running my first 5k

yes you can use other shoes besides the nike+ with the nike+ipod system. You have to get a good pouch to put the sensor in though to make sure its good and snug and its placed on the laces. not sure how much more accurate it is though. Roni the lady who designed blogtolose.com has some of these pouches i believe I've heard her talk about them
