About Me:
Hello! I am here to journal my daily food consumption. I keep attempting to 'write everything down, everyday', but I have not done this consistently. I am ready for a change and ready to do this!
I am a complete "yogi" and I am blessed because I am able to go 5 days a week and then do aerobic classes on the other 2 days. I have the 'working out' part down. Now, I just want to work on the 'food' aspect of living as healthy as possible!!
I'm excited to blog for the first time!!

good about working out so-so with the food

Great day today! Had a fun work out this morning. Then went for a very nice walk this evening---in this PERFECT weather, and did a little yoga at my house. Food for today: b: 1.5 quesadilla (sp?) on corn tortilla with 2% cheese s: granola bar l: whole wheat pasta, granola bar, southbeach cookie thing that isn't really that good s: strawberry fro yo, and another granola bar (i know, i eat too many of these) d: chicken and veggies

Hey gals!! Hope you all had a good day---mine was great--it didn't feel 'just another manic monday' jk but it really didn't!! went to cardio class this am, then a little walk this afternoon, then yoga class in the evening with one of my favorite teachers. Fun weekend with my sis!

Hope you all had a great weekend and that you are looking forward to a wonderful healthy week ahead....I know i am!! I'm upping my cardio and weights this week and asked my husband if he would help me out. He is on board!! I just want to get moving more. My sweet husband is helping me so much----i feel like i'm kind of in a slump---grrrr! but i feel a lot better after our talk this evening. Hey there, I'm so sorry I didnt reply to your comment like forever ago when you asked about my sons first day of preschool! That was really sweet of you to ask....He is now on week 4 and doing much better. The first day was awful....he slapped the teacher in the face when she went to take him from me and of course he was bawling like crazy and it was awful. Each day since then has consistently gotten better to where he actually enjoys it now so I am really happy about that. :) I am LOVING my time on those 2 days while he's in school so I'd say it's a good thing all the way around! :) Hope you are doing well too. :) Thanks again for asking and sorry it took me so long to reply.

Controlling carbs has a made a world of difference in my body. I notice that when I eat a lot of carbs, my stomach immediately bloats and I retain a lot of water. It took me a while to lose, but I wasn't super strict--so I could really adapt. It is a BIG change. It seems everything has carbs! But, you will find what you like. For snacks, I eat jerky, slim jims, cheese, deli meats, celery with dips, sugar free chocolates, and coffee!! I am not a huge snacker, just a big meal eater, so this lifestyle has helped! Now that I am at or near goal, I have to monitor my intake. But, I lost 50 of the 61 pounds eating as much as I liked! It really is doable!
