About Me:
I’m a 28 year old girl who has always enjoyed a little extra padding around me. I joined Weight Watchers in January 2007 to lose weight for my wedding which happened in December 2007. I lost 35 pounds before my wedding and went from a 12/14 to an 6/8. I finally got those last 5 pounds off and hit my goal weight in June 2008. This is the first time in my adult life I’ve ever been in single digit clothing and it feels great. My goal this year is to maintain my weight loss and build my muscle tone.

GOALS:

Weight = 145 *Accomplished on 6/26/08
Size = 6/8 *Accomplished...I just bought my first pair of 6's!

Sick and Tired

I'm at home sick today with a wicked Sinus Infection that has been working it's way through my body for about a week, but has come full blown today! I'm going to the doc today to get some real medicine since the over the counter stuff isn't quite cutting it! Investing in my Feet

Well I didn't burn 1,000 calories at personal training last night...I burned 1110 CALORIES!!!!!!! Man it was a ROUGH workout. Just like Tuesday, we were going NON-STOP!! I remember only 4 instances when we got 20 seconds rest...every other minute of the hour we were working!!! Damn those Pop Tarts!!!

So after my post yesterday about how great I've been at turning down my crazy TOM cravings, I totally caved last night!!!! I wanted Mexican for dinner where I ate chips and salsa until my Chicken Fajita salad came where I proceeded to eat the whole thing (at least it wasn't in one of those fried bowls)...then ate some more chips and salsa while we waited on the check!! I missed my Weightaversary!!!

I didn't even realize it with all the excitement of reaching my goal weight on my birthday then vacation...but on July 9, 2007...I made my Lifetime status at WW. Which means that I've kept off all the weight I lost last year (plus a few extra) for an entire year. That's a pretty big deal to me, because in the past, I've always lost weight, then sort of just stopped doing the good things I was doing, eventually putting that weight back on. Hey Tricia- Thanks for sharing your experience with Lexapro. I tried Lexapro 2 summers ago and did not have any success with it. I also tried Cymbalta that summer and didn't feel like that did anything either... Along with three different migraine drugs- all I felt was medicated. Hmmm.. I've been reading a lot about acupuncture. I think I'm going to try that.

Scrapbooking is a fun thing to do...start by organizing your photos...unless they already are.....

I joined a friend who was into it first and she taught me that ANYTHING goes! If you don't have any friends who scrap check out a local store and see if they have a beginning class. If they don't, I suggest talking to them and getting advice and tips that way. Another thing you can do it pick up a scrap magazine or two and start there!

Do you have a particular thing or event you want to scrap?....match your pics to background paper and embellishments (stickers, chipboard items, etc.) and get a good adhesive and begin...don't forget page protectors and an inexpensive album to hold it all!

Its a technique for making in. Use a freezer quart bag, add two eggs, all your fixings-squish it together so eggs get broken up. Add to boiling water for 13-15 min, and it rolls out of the bag. Fluffy and set up! They are SO yummy and filling!
