About Me:
I am twenty two and am a student who also works at a health food store. I am about 5'6" and my highest weight has been 186, which I weighed about a year ago. Last time I weighed myself I was 153. Whoo-hoo! I lost the first 20 lbs or so very slowly over a time just by just changing my eating habits (I stopped eating crap!). I just recently started running on a regular basis and have lost about 10 more lbs that way. My goal is to weigh between 135 and 145. I haven't weighed that much in so long that I am not even sure what weight would feel right. So for now I am just doing this the old-fashioned way: no pills or tricks, just diet and exercise!

time flies

when you are not into eating well, counting cals, working out, etc. Those days can add up so quick. I am definitely in the middle of "this is the last one" syndrome. "Last meal out," "last time putting off a workout," "last meal where I just eat whatever I feel like it." Ugh, I feel so gross. quick

Not much too report, I just wanted to post so too many days did not go by without me posting. I have been eating pretty good. I have cut alot of bread and starchy items out of my diet. I have been on some sort of a plateau and I think this might help. I am off to work in a few, but I wrote in my planner that this week I am working out tuesday, wednesday, thursday and saturday, no excuses!!! have a good day everyone!

whoa...been gone a while

So my last post was June 10th and today is July 3rd. I am happy to report that although I have not posted, I haven't gained. But I haven't really lost either. In the last month I went out of town two different weekends and have been balancing working out, 2 summer classes and work. Its been alot!!! I also just got back together with my ex (which is going really well :) ) but that takes up time too. A good thing is that he hits the gym alot so we can go together. feelin good

Hey just going to post a quick check-in. I have definitely been on track the last few days. I ran 4 miles straight yesterday!!! I also saw a number on the scale I have never seen (well, since hs): 151.8. That is so close to the 140's I can't even believe it!!! sunday check-in

Just here to check-in. The more often I do it, the easier it seems to stay on track. After I posted my blog yesterday about goals I hopped right on the treadmill and ran. I ran three miles straight, then walked about a .4 of a mile, then ran .6 more so I did a total of four miles. It felt soooo good. Then after that I had a pretty good eating day.
