Roni's post on "Ravenous Roni" makes me think...when I travel, vacation, or just go on an outing with firends for the day, I eat like crazy. All those yummy, not good for you foods you mentioned.
Why? For me it stems from the idea of "celebration." I suppose I feel like I am not doing what I normally do and therefore it's a celebration! I know that is the wrong way to look at the menu....but, how to change that? It feels good to eat those chili cheese fries and nachos....like being free and not…

Thanks for the ideas, every little idea helps! My mom got me the hungry girl book and I too like it. Although I find myself just searching online most days looking for a new and random thing to make. Thanks again for the idea!!!
Thank you for the info, i do have a pair of water shoes and will take them with me:) Having my morning coffee and then will get my DD who is special needs up to get ready for the Beckett Center. Then is my turn to head for UMM and pool. From there i go and get weighed in, will let you know how things go:)
I'm so excited about starting the water aerobics tomorrow, sounds like i will like it. I know my Doc suggested it for my bones...lol...easier for me. You are so right, WW definitely works and i know it is doable for us:)
I just finished my "subscription" to WW. To renew or not? I think I am ready to continue on my own. As I said in my profile/bio, I've done this SO MANY times before. I really know the plan....it's a simple plan, but not necessarily easy! It has come to this... with 2 kids in college and 1 still in high school, and while the hubby has a good job, there has not been a pay raise since 2001 and yet everything else has gone up. So, it has come to a choice between an exercise club or WW. I chose exercise. It cost less per month and I go 4 to 5 times a week. So priced out per "meeting" $10 for WW or $2.12 -$1.70 for the gym? Also, I have a very good "sounding board" at the gym as well. So, that's the scoop on me today!
