About Me:
Hello everyone! My name is Mia and I am married to a wonderful man named John. I am a stay at home mom (well I currently work one evening a week, 2pm-10pm) of two boys Derek who will turn 3 on September 19th and Blake who celebrated his first birthday May 10th! I like to scrapbook whenever I have time, which is like never! I like to cook...but never have time, but most of all I just enjoy spending time with my family!
Here is my weight story. All through high school I grew up thinking as myself as "thick" but not overweight, I didn't enjoy wearing skirts/shorts but still did because I was a cheerleader and played vasity soccer, but I was the "bigger" girl on the teams weighing in at 125lbs being 5'0"! (even thoguh I was very athletic and did have a lot of muscle) Anyways After highschool I got married and soon got pregnant with my first son! Looking at my mother who has had 4 children and weighs all of 105 lbs (5'0') I figured the weight would fall off after pregnancy...maannn was I wrong and If I could go back and change just one thing in my life it would be to not have gained the 70+ lbs I gained during that pregnancy (putting me at close to 200lbs!!) After I delivered my weight dropped down to 160lbs! I tried some yo-yo dieting like no carbs and stuff like that I would last for a week or two lose 5 or so lbs then gain it back! 12 months after having my first son I got pregnant with my second son! I vowed this time to only gain a normal amount of weight and eat HEALTHY during pregnancy! I ended up gaining 30lbs putting me up to 190lbs but after delivery lost the whole 30lbs! After his delivery i joined WW I lost 10lbs in a month and a half it was working! Only problem was I felt like I was straving myself, and possibly my baby! (I was doing the nursing ww plan) and I was left alllwaayyys feeling hungry and my baby was always fussy even after nursing sessions! So I quit ww and vowed to join again when I stopped nursing! Well my son just turned 1 and I weaned him from nusing and I just joined WW again! My starting WI was 157lbs!! My ultimate goal in to just get back to my pre-pregnancy weight! haha after all those years of feeling "thick" in highschool I am now hoping to be that size again!!! Maybe a few lbs less around 115/120lbs but I do do not want to be super skinny like my mother in a size 0 pants! I would just love to get back into my size 6/7's!

Ew don't waste your money-alternative Bagel

I bought some bagels next to the fat free cream chesse in the cold section at the grocery store, they are called "The Alternative Bagel" 110 calories, 8g of fiber! Fat free...sounds very promising...but even though these bagels are good for you but not good on your taste buds! haha is advertises "tastey when toasted" but I would def have to disagree! my 1st blog

So I figured it was time for a blog, even if this is just for myself because I am still trying to figure out this site as far as friends and stuff!
