About Me:
I recently turned 25 and prob. like many people my age, my life is not exactly where I thought it would be at 25. One thing that is DEF. not where I expected it to be is my weight. I think when I first started college at 17....the freshman 15 hit me every year for the first couple of years........and then for some reason, my weight just continued to gradually go up and up. Well....that isnt happening anymore. I got tired of not fitting into the clothes that I used to feel pretty in, I got tired of my friends always being so much thinner then me (yes...unfortunately jealousy can be a motivator) and I got tired of the slightly rude yet concerned comments from family friends about what I was eating. My mother said to me one day....if you want to try something like Weight Watchers, I will pay for it. I thought....what the heck....might as well give it a shot. I just finished my second week and my total weight loss is already at 9lbs. Needles to say I'm pretty thrilled.....and that was just the assurance I needed to know that this was going to be a good thing and that it would work....in time.....it will pay off.

Weight Update

My first mini goal is to lose 15lbs. Ive already lost 9lbs...and fingers crossed I will be reaching that goal soon. After Ive lost 15lbs I will assess what my next mini goal will be.

7-10-08 = Starting weight 235.5lbs
7-17-08 = 230 lbs..........lost 5.5lbs
7-24-08 = 226.5lbs........lost 3.5lbs
7-31-08 = 225.5lbs........lost 1lb
8-07-08 = 223lbs...........lost 2.5lbs
8-14-08 = On Vacation.....didn't go to WW
8-21-08 = On Vacation.....didn't go to WW
8-28-08 = 220lbs...........lost 3lbs
9-04-08 = Didn't go to WW
9-11-08 = 217lbs.......... lost 3lbs

Lapsed on keeping up to date on here....

10-9-08 = 210lbs....lost 25.5lbs to date

I haven't blogged in FOREVER. I feel so bad. Being on vacation for two weeks made me slack on doing a lot of things....returning missed phone calls, blogging, sticking to my points lol. Vacation

I havent blogged in a few days. I am currently on vacation at the Outer Banks till August 23rd. While I am still following the WW plan, it is my vacation so I haven't been writing down what Ive been eating and I have been splurging a little. But Ive been swimming every day so I'm sure Ive earned enough activity points to make up for it. My Scale HAS To Be Broken

So, I know this makes me sound like a complete addict.....but I brought my scale with me on my vacation. I left Sat. morning to drive half way and then finished the rest of the drive today to get to the beach. I weight myself Sat. morning and did not weigh myself again until tonight (Sunday evening). Working Out/Physical Issues

I have been working out quite a bit this week. However ANY working out this week is an improvement cause I hadnt been doing it prior to this week lol. I was really happy with myself with my gym workout today. The elliptical machine usually whoops my but at about 5 minutes but today I made it to 10 minutes and prob. could have gone longer if I really had wanted too. I actually live in Vancouver, BC but am vacationing in Israel for two months. I've already been here for a month so already half way through my trip! The food is soooo yummmy here. Very mediterranean with the pita, hummus, shwarma, falafels.... schnitzels... eggplants... mmmmmm. Hope you're having an excellent weekend!
