About Me:
I'm 32 years old, momma to a 6 year old and 2 year old (who thinks he is 6) little boys. I have been married 9 years to the most wonderful supportive man, who doesn't understand overeating! I was going great guns, but got side tracked with illness and I am having trouble getting back on the bandwagon again.

This is the most recent picture I could find on the computer, but its about 1 month old, because I'm back to blonde now! :) I love to change my hair color.
Plan of Choice:
Weight Watchers
Workout Philiosophy:
I only exercise because I have to

Goals:

current weight 172
6.25.08 169.5
7.2.08 168.5
goal 145

Pounds to lose 27
6.25.08-24.5
7.2.08-23.5

rewards:
167: toe ring
162: 10 new songs from itunes
157: new funky cell phone case
152: ride the bike trail at cedar falls
147: my first massage ever
145: shopping with my fashion conscious friend for a cute new outfit

Non weight goals:
wear the cute pink capris in the back of my closet
for my son to be the one who wants to quit soccer
walk 5 miles (I don't want to run--not interested (yet???) I'm at 2.7 right now)
do family activities--include some form of physical exercise 3x/week for one month--family time for movie night is great, but I want tag, soccer, walk, etc.

weigh in is here.

Well, officially down a pound. so only 1.5 from my fancy toe rings! hee hee hee. I don't know I was hoping for more, but since somehow i gained 4 and lost in it in the week, why am I whining eh? I did try to vary my flex points, but didn't see a big difference in terms of larger weight loss. I've got a great lunch packed and seem to be staying on track, so here we go into another week!

interesting

so over the weekend, I ate all my flex points, today, monday i wasn't that hungry, went for about 20 points. I'm at that now, will have a little more after my walk, but again, "easy" day. I stayed busy at work--so I couldn't snack. I did have tootsie rolls at work. I love those dumb things. I feel like I've peed a lake yesterday and today,so for some reason I must have been retaining some water. I found a new hamburger bun that is only 1 point. Its light village hearth wheat buns. way soft and… Continue

a different 'tude

I sorta feel like I've given up, but I think I'm just trying to change the emphasis from weight to healthy lifestyle and happiness. I haven't exercised for 3 days, the biggest excuse is my husband is on call and I can't walk farther than 10 minutes away. It's kind've a killjoy for me, so I easily let it go. I know I know. but I do. I'm considering a video in the basement, but ....... eating was high today, but I believe still within the flex points. So M-W will be points only days, no flexies t… Continue

lightbulb

You know, I am just now realizing how tied to my weight my self concept is. I know that the little gain is probably water weight, but it doesn't matter, now I'm in a funk. I didn't eat well yesterday, but within DP and flex points, but still, it feels like failing. How silly, that's when I really need to remember what's healthy and why I'm doing this. I am going to look at varying my flex points --like someone else's post suggested, giving highs and lows and seeing if that will help. Hmmmm, I j… Continue

Yeah!

This AM I was down to 168.5, another pound. I've decided I'm only moving the ticker on WI days, so I'll just mention loss here, but record on Wednesdays. I did my 3.4 mile walk last night, i almost gave it up b/c it looked like rain, but I thought, lets just go and see how far I get. It was worth it, I went 60 min and felt good! I'm staying on points and even said no to chinese food from my hubby who was craving it! Love it! Tonight is swim lessons for my oldest and my youngest and I just go pl… Continue

Well, ok, nothing like having no boundaries. Yikes. Its like jumping into a cold lake without touching the water, you just jump, tell a bazillion people your one thing you've never told anyone and hit enter. There you go. The first jump is always the worst. I have no idea if anyone will read this, but the idea that someone might and I'm not updating progress would drive me bananas.

So, either I'll show progress or go bananas. Hmmm, guess we're all on the edge of our seat for that one eh?

Food intake was crummy today. But I did go for a walk, so that is a bonus. My goal for tomorrow is one walk, and to stay on points. Yikes--it sounds so easy, but I know the first day can be so hard. I've had so many first days!
