About Me:
In June 2007 I started Weight Watchers in order to shed about 75 extra pounds I've been carrying around for about 10 years. I'm almost there, and I'm happier and healthier than I've EVER been!

I've been doing Weight Watchers since June '07, I've lost 71 pounds, and have 7to go! I have made my Weight Watchers goal, and am now working on Lifetime. I try to post a few times a week, and always post my Weigh In Results on Thursday.



Goal: Lose 75 pounds

Mini Goals:

Lose 10 pounds - Accomplished 7/19/07

Lose 10% (21 pounds) - Pedicure Accomplished 9/6/07

Lose 25 pounds- Accomplished 10/25/07

Lose 30 pounds- Accomplished 12/13/07

Lose 50% of the weight I need to lose (38 lbs) - Accomplished 3/13/08

Lose 40 pounds - Lip Gloss Set - Accomplished 3/27/08

Lose 45 pounds - Accomplished 4/10/08

Lose 50 pounds - Ipod - Accomplished 6/5/08

Lose 52 pounds by my 1 yr WW anniversary (avg of 1 lb per week over a year) By 6/21/08 - Accomplished 6/12/08

Lose 55 pounds - New Sunglasses Accomplished 7/10/08

Lose 60 pounds - Cartilidge Piercing Accomplished 8/28/08

Lose 63 pounds (30% of starting weight) - Purse Accomplished 9/11/08

Lose 65 pounds - Still thinking of reward for here Accomplished 9/11/08

Lose 70 pounds - Tattoo Accomplished 10/16/08

Lose 75 pounds - Belly Button Piercing!

Update & Pics at Goal

Well I've had 10 days on Maintance so far and its been OK. I'm still at goal. I've had quite a few big events lately that have involved food, and my exercise has been lacking. I'm hoping to get back in the groove this week. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding (see pics below) on Sat, and I was so happy w/ the way that I looked and the pictures. I Did It - I made my WW Goal

I never thought I would type these words. I have made GOAL!!! It has definately been a long hard road filled with blood, sweat, and tears, but I made it. I have lost a total of 71 pounds, and my official Weight Watchers weight is 148.4. My Weight Watchers goal is 150! So, I made it with a little wriggle room! WI Results

Well I just got back from WI, I lost 4.4 lbs (this is a combined 2 week loss). I have lost a total of 65.6 pounds. I am 3.8 pounds away from my WW goal. I cannot believe it. I simply cannot fathom how far I have come. WOW. I have now lost over 30% of my starting weight! I can't put into words how I feel. My whole life is different, I am somehow the same person, but very different. My reward for the 30% of starting weight is a new purse. I did it

Well I am here to report that I did my workout last night, and went on a 20 min jog before work this morning, and am going swimming tonight. I wouldn't say I have my mojo back, but I'm going to "fake it till I make it". I feel a lot better that I got some great workouts in, and am looking forward to a few more this week yet. I am looking forward to WI tomorrow. I'll be back then. Until then...I'm faking it until I make it :) Have a great OP day everybody.

Lost my Workout MoJo

Well I seem to have lost my workout mojo. I have been doing so great for months working out 5 times a week. And now I haven't worked out since Friday. ARGH! I've got to get my mojo back. At least my eating has been stellar, so I haven't seen an ill effect from my lack of workouts on the scale. But, I want to be healthy, and that includes working out. It's not just about being skinny. Hi Lacey! I put a comment on my blog but in case you didn't see it I thought I'd come over here :) I just said to check out http://www.savingdinner.com/products/detox.html to find out more on the detox diet plan I am following this week. Yep, it's something I had to purchase but $3.95 for one week was OK with me. LOL I'm trying to decide if I should spring for week 2. :)

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog. And girl you look dang good!!! Congrats on your weight loss, what an accomplishment! Your an awesome role model for all of us that are just starting out. I think my main problem is I want the weight off NOW! I don't want to do all the hard work! Hi Lacey,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! WOW! You have done a fantastic job!!!! I'm trying my best to follow WW at home . Trying to also get out of my low carb/high fat mentality. I know I will get there! I see so many people with major success with WW! Gotta work the program to see the results! That is what I intend to do!

You are very sweet. I do appreciate hearing what keeps you going. I am attempting to make those shorter term goals and getting through one day at a time. I realized recently that although I kept saying I was making this my lifestyle, I truly wasn't. So I am happy now that I have realized that, accepted it and can move forward. I love looking at your page, what you have accomplished, what you reward yourself with and what your next goals are. It is truly motivating. Thanks again for all of your help. I think there was a reason I was to come to your page again...I just looked at your progress pictures and you have done amazing. I started WW almost one year ago and have lost 35lbs. While I know that this is a great effort, I could be down so much more. So this is why I am now getting my goals down on paper...(well computer) and want to strike them off...how do you stay motivated? How do you keep going? Can you lend me some words of encouragement?
