About Me:
As far back as I can remember I've been overweight, I was always the biggest kid in our family of 5. I tried diet after diet and for a while I lost weight then I'd quit and I gain back the weight plus more besides. Last year I turned 40 and I said enough, this is the year that I have to make a change, so I joined Weight Watchers. I must say that I really like it, I enjoy attending the meetings. I haven't been perfect on it but this is the only diet that I've stuck with for 14 months. The other diets were all cast aside after a few months. No matter how many bad days I have I always end up going back to Weight Watchers. I staerted out at 313 pounds and today I weigh 253 pounds. My doctor would like for me to weigh about 170 but I'd like to go at little lower if possible.

Successful Week

I weighed in yesterday and I couldn't believe it, I lost 5.6 lbs. I don't know what I did this week that was different but I was so excited. This really inspired me to keep at it. I was hoping for a couple of lbs but 5.6, its awesome. I'm 1 lb away from having 70lbs gone. Actually last night at Weight Watchers I received my key chain for having lost my 10 percent again. Since I rejoined Weight Watchers I've lost 29 lbs in 8 weeks. I'm definitely sticking with this program because I know it works… Continue

Stress!Stress!!Stress!!!

Its been awhile since I posted, I've been really busy at work but I figured today I'd take the time to let you know what's been going on with me over the past little while. I thought I was doing pretty good, keeping up with my exercises and not going over my points, and when I weighed in on Thursday it showed that I had lost 2.8 lbs which I thought was excellent. Down 3.2 lbs

I did it. I weighed in tonight and I lost 3.2 lbs. It made up for the gain last week. I was so excited. This made me more determined to keep it up. When you gain you feel like giving up and overeating, which is what I did last week, but this week I had something healthy to eat after I weighed in tonight. Tomorrow is WI Day

Well tomorrow is the big day, my weigh in day. I've really worked hard this week to lose weight. After the 2 pound gain last week I was determined that it wasn't going to happen 2 weeks in a row. I've stuck to my points and I've exercised this week more than ever. My stomach actually aches because I'm so sore from exercising. If I'm not down tomorrow I don't know what else to do. Still Going

This is my first post since I weighed in on Thursday with a 2 pound gain. The past couple of days have been really good. I've been sticking to my points and doing from 40 to 60 minutes of exercising. I was upset by the gain on Thursday but I've gotten over that and I'm aiming for a loss this Thursday. I want to thank everyone who has commented on my blog posts. Hi Roxanne, that banana bread sounds really good, but I'm afraid my "slice" would be like 1/4 a loaf.. haha! Pastries and sweets make me weak in the knees. I'm one of these people who can't be trusted with eclairs, danishes, any sweet breads. I can sit in a room full of chips, popcorn, crunchy salty stuff and say no. It's so strange. You know that you've really done a great thing right? You've made it past a bad day without throwing up your hands and saying to heck with it which is so tempting to do. Kudos to you! Rome wasn't built in a day. This is a process and we will all lose little battles now and then. It's the war that we will ultimately win if we keep our heads together. Have a great week!
