Plugging away...

Well, I don't have much time right now so I will keep this short and sweet. I am still hanging in there. My food is horrible. Somehow I have craved (and ate) cake every day this month. I guess since my birthday is tomorrow I feel like I deserve a birthday month. I have however been biking to work. I have done it three times now and today marked back to back two days in a row. Walk Walk and more Walking With a Review and Some Food Thrown In

This weekend's food was horrible. I ate a huge bacon cheeseburger with fries and mac and cheese on Saturday. On Sunday I had two mini BBQ pork sandwiches and that night French toast stuffed with cream cheese. (horrible!) Then yesterday I had a huge apple pancake that was anything but healthy. It was a really rough weekend for food, BUT I did walk. I walked a LOT. I walked 10,415 steps on Saturday; 16,620 steps on Sunday; and Monday 10,128 steps. Shoes that work the Butt!

I am going after work today to finally break down and buy these shoes that everyone seems to rave about. They are flip flops that put your body on a constant unstable surface causing your legs and butt to have to work overtime to keep you upright. I'm hoping they work because people swear they are comfortable and if I don't have to wear socks I'm all for it. Here they are:

OH yeah it definitely works! I found it at the 5th Target I looked at...they had 4 left. But most places only get a few at a time and they are gone!
