About Me:
I am a 26 year old married mother of 1. I work as a Program Director for adults with developmental disabilities. I am looking to enjoy the rest of my 20's not complaining about my body, but actually doing something about it and sticking to it. Roni has really inspired me that I can actually lose weight and keep it off. I never was the good looking girl and that has really affected my self-esteem my whole life. I want to feel good about myself so I can inspire my daughter to do the same.
Plan of Choice:
Weight Watchers
Workout Philiosophy:

Being accountable

So far.. Breakfast-bowl of frosted mini wheats (4) snack- 9 nilla' wafers (3) another snack!- granola bar (2), vending machine cappucino (3) 12/22 points for the day. For lunch later, I made tuna (2), crackers (2), with 1 slice of laughing cow cheese (1), so 17/22 points for the day I am proud I am counting every darn thing I put in my mouth. That is how I was successful last time!!!

Sorry, the site I gave you didn't have the points for each day, but this site does: http://www.angelfire.com/crazy4/ahealthylifestyle/WendiePlan.html

The website I gave you should tell you how to eat your points each day. The Wendie Plan is a way of eating your daily points and your flex points, just in a specific way, so you don't really worry about flex points or activity points, you just eat the points you are supposed to for the day.

The Wendie Plan is a way of alternating the way you eat your points so that your metabolism stays revved up (or so they claim). You can read about it here. The whole thing is explained if you scroll down to where it says "Why does the Wendie Plan work?"

o ya and I love working with the disabled! (: My sister has CP and MR so I've grown up around kids with disabilities. At one time I wanted to be a special ed teacher... but I ended up just teaching regular ed.

O my gosh your little girl is a doll! How funny we have a lot in common, not just our body size... I have a little girl, 16 months and I'm 28 years old. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I will try to stop by and see how you're doing (:

So far, I have gained 10 pounds. I am 22 weeks now, so hopefully I will gain about 10-15 more and that is all! I gained 30 pounds with my first one, and by this time with her I had already gained about 17 pounds. So, I am definitely doing better than last time!

Way easy! ! box of chocolate cake mix, 1 can of real pumpkin (I think the brand I get is Mrs. Libby's) it doesn't have any of the pumpkin pie flavoring, its just pumpkin. and around 6 TBSP of water. Mix all together--its pretty thick, but you can add a little more water if you want. Put into 24 muffin papers--it has to make 24 for the 1 point thing to work. Bake for around 8 min--I'm bad at time--so just watch, trust me you don't want them over done! They are sooooo moist and yummy. I save points so I can eat them! I've had them with strawberries and cool whip as a sundae, etc. My kids love them, and don't know they are LOADED with fiber. Enjoy! I may have to make some myself!

Holy buckets, you are really hard on yourself. My heart is so sad that father's day isn't joyful--because I'm guessing other days are hard to o without your dad. I'm glad that your husband is an awesome dadand you can celebrate that. Your daughter is beautiful--love the curls! I can totally relate to that frustration of feeling lilke "one thing ruined it all" that's when I usually take advantage and eat horrible the rest of the day. Let the guilt go, its about living, not guilt over a choice. I liked your idea in your "goals" post about having daily goals--specific ones. I'm going to start that--that might help me be a bit more focused. Your next choice is just a meal away--hang in there! I've got the best chocolate muffin recipe that is only one point that my family LOVES and so do I--I'd share if chocolate is your thing.

I feel your pain. My family looks at rice cakes like they came from another planet. I just try to sneak in substitutions like ground turkey and tuna. I like casseroles, but I'm used to using a cream soup base. Maybe I can figure out a healthful substitute that thickens. I guess a little cornstarch and some broth might work. I like things that are one pot or easy to prepare, but I used to make pretty elaborate recipes. I'm going to do some research and post what I find. Good Luck today!

Gretchen, you're daughter is absolutely angelic. I have a 13 month old son and a 9 yr old daughter. I'm feeling the need for a chocolate "fix" myself. I'm going to see about adjusting some tried and true recipes. I'm love to bake. I'm the one my family counts on for desserts during the holidays. I want to find healthy recipes that I can pass off as bad. They won't eat much with the label "healthy", "fat free", "sugar free", etc. I have a wonderful WW group. They provide lots of recipes, but most of the time, I just adjust my old ones. Good Luck this week. Losing baby weight isn't easy, but they're so worth it.
