About Me:
I am a 20 something year old female that recently married the best husband there is. Before meeting my husband, I lost about 65 pounds using Weight Watchers. Unfortunately, once I was married, the stress of moving, looking for a job, the stress of the new job, and just wanting to spend every minute with my new husband and not over a stove led me to gain back about 40 of those pounds. I'm on a journey to get back to where I was--a happier, healthier me!
Plan of Choice:

Baby Steps

Many of us have been "planning" how to survive Thanksgiving. To count points? To not count points? To indulge in it all? To eat everything you like in moderation? It's a lot to consider. While I did eat more than I would on any given day, I would consider myself successful yesterday. I can officially say that for the first time in as long as I can remember, I did not eat until the point of feeling SICK!! Woo--hoo!! That's a NSV right? You ladies know what I'm talking about don't you? That part r… Continue

Officially In Between

That's me--in between sizes--the most annoying place to be. The other day I was standing in the cafeteria at work and my assistant principal asked if I was losing weight. When I said yes, she said "because I noticed you're kinda getting saggy butt pants" Uh, thanks...I think. While it is nice to have a little extra room in my pants (and for other people to notice), saggy butt pants doesn't exactly sound all that flattering. So I got brave and pulled out a smaller size to see if it would work. N… Continue

Be Careful What You Wish For...

A few weeks back I posted about consistency in weight loss and how I wish I had it...Well, last week I lost 0.6 pounds and this week, you guessed it 0.6 pounds. I don't think that was exactly what I was going for. Couldn't I be consistent at a little higher rate? Haha. Guess next time I should be a little more specific!

Gracie's Gear Giveaway

Boy, this could not have come at a better time...last week in my cardio interval class I realized that I was the youngest girl in the class, yet the one with the biggest bounce. Since losing weight, my chest has gone down considerably and all my sports bras are way too big. This doesn't work well to keep everything in place. I could definitely use a new sports bra!!

Hey Hey!! How's it going? I too suffer from saggy butt pants.
Otherwise things are looking up for me. I am getting back in to a routine to exercise after being MIA from this site. I was starting to feel so repititive and that I wasn't getting anywhere. But my mojo is back, and I am getting back on track. :)

I am good. It is funny...you start getting to know people and then when they aren't on, you feel like you need to check on them. Glad you are still on track, and hope things slow down for you.

Thanks, Christy. I am happy to report that I avoided a second piece of the pie. However, it is still sitting in the refrigerator today. I am going to see if I can pawn it off on my parents. ha ha

I did the Couch to 5k program a year and a half ago. That is how I started running. I loved it, and after I mastered that, kept going up until the 5 mile mark. That is where I let myself go, and now I am trying to build myself back up. I hear you on the exercising after work thing. It is so hard to find time, and have the energy after a long day at school. I wish I was the type of person who could wake up at 5 a.m. and workout, but I am just not. I have tried before, and never keep it up. So I workout afterschool. I take my clothes into school with me, change in the bathroom before I leave the building, and go straight to the gym before I have time to change my mind. I have to get back home 2 days/week to get my son from daycare, so those days my workout is a long walk with him before supper.
I didn't mean to be too personal on the kids question. I am sure you hear that all the time, "when are you having kids?" ha ha I always hated that. Now we are dealing with the "Time for another baby" comments constantly, since our son will turn 2 this fall.

Hi Christy! You are my first friend. ha ha Sometimes it feels like I am in 2nd grade again. I just told my husband, "I have a new friend." ha ha It sounds like we have a lot in common. I think it would be great to check in with each other to see how things are going. So are you a big exerciser? Do you have any children? I am going to read through your blog...maybe that will answer some of my questions. You have a nice long weekend as well.

Things with me are great these days. I've started going to Hot Yoga a couple of times a week, and am actually starting to like my C25K training runs. I am starting to get really excited about my upcoming vacation...I'll be in Orlando exactly 2 weeks from now. :) I can't wait to meet Mickey and the gang!! LOL

That doesn't sound silly at all ... My boyfriend loves to share my food, and I hate to let him because if he eats part of it, I don't know how many Points are in it anymore!
