a little about me.

i'm a 24-year-old who does everything to the fullest extent. i live and love and obsess over things with every fiber of my being.
i graduated from west virginia university (where we'll drink you under and on top of the table!) with a degree in marketing. i relocated to columbus, ohio to pursue a career. when i realized that my soul was being ripped from my body and i hated every day of my life (working 70-hour weeks doing something completely different than i'd originally thought/ever planned!), i decided to quit my job and am currently going back to school for graphic design. long live realizing your dreams!

this blog is a way for me to reach attainable goals and keep a record of my journey.

sunday with mexican dinner.

i haven't blogged in a few days, but i've been keeping totally on track. well, except friday which got a little dicey. i went to a friend's house for a cookout, but they are completely vegan, so i brought my own fat free hot dogs and whole wheat white buns for myself. i couldn't help but have a few snippets of their homemade guacamole and multi grain chips. and i also had one of the host's megaritas, which was made from organic limeade and then liquor. i still figured it out to be around 4 point… Continue

wednesday!

boring blog alert: just for my personal logging... i went to the gym between classes today, but it was a short day. i did 20 minutes on one elliptical and then 10 minutes on a second elliptical. i did a few weight machines and then i went home and had lunch before i went to my second class. food today:

exercise inquiry.

i already posted this in the weightwatchers group, but i wanted to make it public to all so i could get a variety of responses. to begin, i'm not asking about exercise in an "activity point" stance...but i was wondering what everyone does at the gym? i have a bad knee (i had knee surgery when i was in 8th grade and it's never been the same...boohiss) so when i go to the gym, i usually do anywhere between 30-55 minutes of cardio, which usually includes up to three different elliptical machines.… Continue

throwing a tuesday into the mix -- with chicken recipe!

one thing i realized is that you can't lie about what you put into your mouth. and i have a bad habit of accidently eating 50 teddy grahams and pretending it didn't happen. but i'm really only hurting myself...and all the baby teddy bears that had to be sacrificed too. so i'm food journaling and BLOGGING (thanks to this amazing site!) so that i will have a constant record of what is going into my body at all times. i found this recipe on www.dwlz.com and it's c… Continue

this is big stuff here. i had been keeping up with roni's site for a few months now, but i never realized that this was a part of it.
