Back on track?

I have to add an ? to that, because it certainly isn't a statement! I have spent the past 2 weeks eating way too much, still exercising, but ugh. It's like hitting that under-200 goal made me stop trying, when I have a minimum of 30 pounds to go still. I know it doesn't help that until Aug. 31st I have to work 10 hours of OT per week and when I get home I'll have about an hour with my son before his bedtime, and I'm thinking of applying for a new job on Monday that sounds just SO me, and we NEE… Continue

Just a usual day of crazy....

WAHOO FLUFF GONE!! The AC being off at the gym probably helped haha. Long day at work today, and I am wanting to keep POP and exercise again tonight, so I can "enjoy" tomorrow night and still maintain or eek out a tiny loss. (I think maintain is more likely!) Going out with friends to Red Robin, and if I am able to be POP today, and POP at work tomorrow, then I will have a turkey burger and their YUMMY fries. Otherwise, if I'm not liking the scale tomorrow, I'll get that 9pt chicken platter th… Continue

Work work go away...

We are going through a conversion at the bank I work at, and I am having to do some serious overtime, and major system overhauls, moving business clients info over to the new system...ahhh. It tends to get so crazy that I barely get a moment to myself. Between work, overtime, my almost-2 year old son, hubby, working out and trying to keep up the home...I feel lost sometimes. But, I've been on-track. This past weekend was an eating-fest, but I quickly got back on the wagon, and have burned off t… Continue

Official weigh in day...hurray!

OWI: 194 (-3) :) WAHOO! I now weigh 1 pound less than DH, and I am 3lbs closer to my "180's by Evan's 2nd birthday on August 1st" goal! :) So far we've been out to brunch, I had a 2-egg omelete with cheddar cheese, 2 small pancakes with no butter, and light syrup, and a cup of coffee. 3 servings of water so far today. Tonight I'll be doing the 2 mile walk and tone WATP, plus her 1 mile jog program, since the gym closes at 7pm on weekends. I only head over there when Evan is asleep, so weekend… Continue

I wore my husband's pants...

Strange title? Baha. I guess you only understand if you have been larger than your significant other! I have always been much heavier than my DH, MUCH heavier. He was a slim guy when we started dating 11 years ago, and I was in the high 200's. I am now within 1-2 pounds of his weight, but tonight, I figured out I can comfortably wear his 34-inch waist dockers! :) WAHOO!!!!! It's been this goal in the back of my mind to weigh less than my DH, and I'm not sure I believed I would get here, now I k… Continue

I too have been heavier than my hubby and we are finally the same weight tomorrow I'm going to try his pants on. I'm really pushing for the 170's and hope to be there by the end of June! I have been doing alot more of WATP and its paying off. I already have so many exercise items (bike, rebounder, treadmill, stepper, balance ball) but I figure I don't want to be bored.

Thank-you for the Birthday wish almost a week ago! My hubby took me away for a week so I had no access to my computer. I came back today for my weigh in at meeting and I've lost 1.8 pounds this week. I do WATP and I'm up to the 5 mile walk. I bought a Polar F6 heart rate moniter and I burn about 680 calories doing this workout. So a simple thing like WATP does work! I've never tried an eliptical do you like it? You have come along way and should be proud of yourself. I also love weightloss sites of all kinds and just got done reading Half-Assed a weight loss memoir another great book is Secrets of a former fat girl and I really related with the author. I've purchase several Weight Watchers books and cookbooks and I need to make some of the recipes instead of just looking at it.
