Hey everybody, I'm Sofy- a college student who's looking to lose quite a few pounds and finally be fit. I enjoy running and working out but I have a lot of trouble staying motivated.
I LOVE photography, playing pool, the Chicago Cubs :), reading and working out, when I have the time.
I've changed my major a few times. I started out in Fashion Design, which turned into Photography, and I'm currently majoring in Sociology and minoring in Spanish/Photojournalism... (note: I'm definitely NOT an over-achiever, so we'll see how I do lol!)
I got my passport in the mail a little while ago, and can't wait to travel all over the world!
Yay! Glad you got it figured out. Also, remember that you get 35 weekly points. I don't use too many, but it's comforting to know they're there if you need them. Some people say they actually lose more when they use them, so who knows?
That still sounds low as far as points go. Maybe you need to go to a meeting or Weight Watchers online or get a WeightWatcher book. I've never been to a meeting, but my mom goes to one and gave me the information. Also, if you go to www.ronisweigh.com, look on the right, and click on wwp calculators. You can then scroll down, and put in your info. to get your points at the bottom.
My next one is Sept 27th - I am looking to shave 2 minutes off my time. It's going to be hard but I am working on it!
I think it has helped that I registered for my next one as soon as the first is over. I had 10 weeks to train and improve my time. It has really given me the motivation to keep going and run as much as I can.
Being a full-time grad student I workout whenever I get the chance. I always have my workout clothes with me here and a full days worth of food and snacks.
Maybe you should look into your next one and commit to it :O)
I welcome you to this community with open arms! You will find support and encouragement here whenever you need it. There will be ups and downs, but keep moving towards your goal you'll make it!
