For the past two years, I have been in a state of limbo as I have worked hard and prepared to apply and get into medical school. In November 2006, I ran the New York City Marathon. Since then, I have gained about 20 pounds rather quickly and have been trying for at least the last year to lose it. So far, nothing has worked for me because I just can't commit to a plan everyday of the week.
