To be honest, I have such freedom with CORE. I am hungry - I mean truly hungry - I eat. I had 22 points a day. If I ran or rode the bike I would get an extra 4 points...I could then dip in to FLEX points...but I would gorge on the weekend because I felt do deprived all week that I would use up my flex points and more...I was defeated before I even started. It hasn't always been like this. It is just since I entered the 22 point mark a few months ago and increased the intensity and frequency of my exercise. I still portion everything out...like flex but if I want more, I get more! It's awesome and sounds like it would work for you where you are right now in your journey. You look amazing! It is cool to see people change right before your eyes almost! Take care!
Weigh to go on your WI and on being so close to goal. You obviously have what it takes to persevere, even through tough times. I've been there with your church situation. Beloved leaders moving on and the uncertainty of interim situations. Just cling to that "All things work together for good. . . ." verse--it's always helped me. You mentioned home schooling. My daughter does that for her three (5,6,8) so I have some idea of just how busy your life must be. The other thing I noticed was your mission trip to Italy. We lived in Rome for 3 years and loved it! I also sing and know what you mean about gettiing confident in your gift. Rejoice.
Congratulations on getting so close to your goal!! What a great birthday present that will be for you to make it to 144. That's my ultimate goal, getting down to 143 - 145. I see you started somewhere in the 190's (I hope I added that right) how long has it taken you to to get to where you are now? You are very inspirational. :)
You said it. That sums it up for me as well. I have been lying to myself. I didn't realize how MUCH i was taking in until I started journaling again...and planning ahead...and ALLOWING myself to sit on the couch with my husband while I drink chamomile tea and HE drinks the wine and eats the popcorn...self control, baby! I feel like I'm relearning!
