Pizza Pizza Healthy Healthy

One of my favorite dinners is healthy homemade pizza! Sweet success after a long plateau!

Yay!!! I have good news - I lost 3 pounds. This is a huge amount for me in a week!! For the month of May, I lost 6.5 pounds, which is also higher than my typical monthly loss of 4.5 pounds. However, for the last TWO months, my overall loss is 6.5 pounds...and over the last THREE months, my total loss is 7.0 pounds. So my recent success in May is after a two-month plateau. Stick to it this summer!

Memorial Day weekend -- and suddenly, summer is here! I've got a busy summer scheduled, who doesn't? It was an equally busy summer of 2007 that packed on weight for me! I found some old records. In January of 2007, I began a weight loss plan at 244 pounds. At the end of January, I had lost 8 pounds -sounds good. Recommended reading

One of my other favorite bloggers, Pasta Queen, wrote a book about losing half her weight (190+ pounds). I just finished it yesterday! The book is a personal memoir - there's no diet tips, food journals, or anything else. It's just her experience of losing weight over two years. Even though it's not a "diet" book per se, you still understand that the main reason she succeeded was her attitude that she would succeed, and that she didn't overly restrict her eating. Thanks! I think that is my problem I am focusing too much on the scale. However, I haven't seen a good loss since September. I have been playing with the same 5lbs since then (poor eating habits) so its hard for me not too! This has probably been my best week in a long time, so that extra boost would really help!

Also, great job to you as well-and congrats on your loss!
