About Me:
I am a 35 year old wife and mother. I also have a fulltime career. My struggles with weight started when I finished college and started sitting all day at a desk job. Weight has just crept up over the years. I have had a bit of success with both weight watchers and south beach. Right now I am doing kind of a combination of both. (I count points but try to eat foods from the South Beach plan). I would like to lose about 35-40 pounds. I am a runner and in the past I have completed two full marathons and 5 half marathons. However, it has been 2.5 years since the last one, and I am at least 20 lbs heavier than the last time I ran one. I would like to get back in that kind of shape again.

Hi! I am new at the whole bloggin, chatting, online wight loss game. I have spent some time over the weekend reading a bunch of the posts here. I was so motivated by all of you and thought the accountability of posting online would be just the motivation I need to stick with it, once and for all!
