About Me:
I am a 24 yr old woman who wants to claim the fit youthful body I've never had - while I'm still young! I'm newly married we're having a traditional wedding ceremony in less than a year - followed by a beach-side honeymoon. I want to snap my frame into shape. If I could even come close to the fuller figure I had at 15, when my husband met me, I would be ellated. Time will tell.

New Job!!!

I know I mentioned last entry that I was looking for a new job. It's something I've been doing since Jan/Feb... hardcore looking started this summer. Well, ladies and gents, I finally got one! Out of Touch - Attempting to Bridge the Gap

Life's been really busy recently. I've been working really hard at resolving some financial matters, still working full-time (while searching for another job), I managed to finish the summer semester, and the University's fall semester started two weeks ago. Confession Time

The first half of yesterday went pretty well. I brought my own lunch to work, albiet a sloppy version of something I saw on the Food Network over the weekend. I used two left over soft taco shells as my crust, used a left over packet of pizza sauce, and the left over mozzarella from meatball night and made a mini pizza. Yesterday

Went to the gym last night before dinner. Spent 10 minutes on the elliptical and 5 minutes on floor exercises. I know it doesn't sound like much but it was definitely a start. It was a bit abbreviated for two reasons. 1. I didn't want to be using the excuse today "my body aches" from going full throttle on day one and 2. I forgot to tape up my right knee. Day 1

I feel so full. It's been 10 hours since I ate last and still I feel so full. I decided when I came to work today that I wouldn't be bringing a lunch. I couldn't forsee needing a lunch when my stomach still ached from the pancakes I managed to whip up at 6:30 AM. What was I thinking?! Hey there...Ive added you as a friend. Oh you are in B-more...cool. I love this site. I have had a few medical problems and I am having my 2nd appt with my naturopathic tomorrow. I am so excited and hopeful that she will have an eating plan for me that I can roll into the ww plan.

My opinion, (which is an opinion :~P ), is that it does. Only because too much of anything can be bad. I do have some caffeine though...2 cups of coffee every morning.

For me, water is HUGE. And, of course, journaling my food and moving as much as possible (at first, even as simple as taking stairs or parking far away from stores, etc.)

This is such an encouraging post and a recommended read!
