About Me:
I am 27 and have been overweight since I was 13. I have gone up and down and am ready to go down for good.
My daughter just turned 18 months and I am working to change my eating habits so I don't teach her bad ones and cause her the same pain I have had.
I also want to be able to play with her without feeling tired.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
Plan of Choice:
Weight Watchers
Workout Philiosophy:
I'm new to exercise

Interesting week, lol

Well I have kind of found my wagon this week, in terms of getting back on track. I am down a pound and I have done better eating this week. No exercise, but I will get there. I just have to remember nothing is instanteous. In other news my husband and I have made an interesting decision this week. I can't remember if I have blogged about this or not, but in the spring of 06 my husband was diagnosed and treated for testicular cancer. He endured several weeks of radiation therapy after having s… Continue

Has anyone seen my wagon?

Can someone point me in the direction of the very supportive weight loss wagon I feel off sometime at the beginning of August? I just tried to balance too much in life and losing weight made it to the bottom of the to do list. My last entry of Prioritizing fell on deaf ears: mine that is. I have been balancing writing, my very active toddler, crazy times on the farm where we work (the goat got very sick), and starting my own Learning Playgroup. On the plus side, I have been a writing maniac s… Continue

prioritizing

I haven't blogged very much lately. I have been having a little trouble the last couple weeks staying OP due to an increased amount of stress and things to do here at home. I have been doing a ton of writing lately which is great because I now have several submissions I am sending in to various places, but it also means since I have poured so much effort into that other things have suffered. My house still looks like a tornado hit. I haven't worked out in almost two weeks and I've had at least… Continue

Goals for today

My TOM is finally subsiding a bit and I feel so much less bloated. It's funny how much that feeling can make you feel like giving up. But I'm over it and as of this morning, although not official weigh-in, I am down half a lb. Goals for today Water, water, water Not let me husband talk me into eating out Have a great day all

So, I have just read all your blog. You have to tell me how babysitters club affected you? I NEED to know. I read it as well...did you read Sweet Valley Twins? That was my fave. :)

Thanks for the advice! I have been thinking about what I'm going to tell my doctor. I was afraid that if she heard the words "Weight Watchers" that a red flag would go up and she'd freak out and think I was trying to diet while pregnant. I really think that people who are unfamiliar with WW think of it as a diet and won't think it's appropriate during pregnancy, but I totally think it's doable. I have thought about doing it under the nursing mother option, but I know that nursing mothers actually need more calories than pregnant women, so I'm thinking about spliting the difference. Do you know how much your friend gained who used the nuring mother points?

That sounds like a really neat idea, thanks! I am starting to feel better, but not confident that I am past the sickness phase.

I am hoping for the same BL team too! Really, I am ready to get started. I seem to do much better during competition... than on my own.

I am 31 and have struggled with my weight off and on since I was about 16. I have a son who is also 18 months. I know what you mean about wanting them to not grow up with our issues about food. I am starting back on Weight Watchers today. I know I can do this if I can get past my own mind.
