seriously annoyed... SERIOUSLY... and it is so random and nonsensical. My spousal unit (aka Hubby) just left today to go for training at another base. I call the hotel to make sure he got in okay and no one picks up after the initial prompt. So I find another number and call it. They can't connect me to his room on that phone because it's a cordless. Ok, no problemo, I will call the switchboard to get connected. Nope. 28 minutes listenning to country music. I call back. Don't wanna seem like a cranky lady so I don't get snippy. They put me on hold and I can hear them playing around in the background; talking about their partying the night before... while I'm on hold again. And they still can't connect me. Cordless phone. Okay, fine. I call the switchboard back and WOW... they answer after only 1 minute this time. Hmmm. Finally get connected to the room (after well over an hour of attempting) and his butt is not there. That is my irritation. Not so much that I was on hold and told to call hither and yon but that he is not in his room. Grrrr. Makes me want to eat crunchy, fattening food. But, I will not. I will go read or something. And now... as I look at the clock, I see that my children are late for curfew. Nice. What a day....

My husband grew up in Albuquerque! Last time I was there we went to the balloon museum. It was pretty neat since I didn't know a lot about balloons. Have you lived there long?

I have been hitting the gym extra hard this week. The simple fact that I've been exercising this week is an event in and of itself. I hate exercise typically. Or so I say. Why? I have no idea. I love it when I do it. I complain about how much I hate it and then I do it and I feel like that lady at the front of class who is "woo-ing" and hopping all over the place. I don't quite have the stamina to hop all over the place yet but we'll see.
Eating... I'm eating healthy. Just lots of it. I need to calm down a little. But, I'm not eating any more than I was before and I'm moving way more. Something's gotta give. I am considering going back to WW but I want to get committed to fitness first.
I guess I can't count yoga tonight as cardio or strength. It was hard but fun. I took my 17 year old brother with me. He loved it. Now I need a shower. (My third of the day... crikey!)

I am back with a vengence. Perhaps not a vengence but at least with vigor. I am tackling this weight thing aggressively this time. My poor muscles are waking up from a LOOOOONG hibernation. My lungs are like two fat guys trying to lug a piano up 50 flights of stairs. They're yelling about some crazy lady that has to have the piano and there's no darn elevator. At least that's the picture I have in my mind when I am exercising and can't quite breathe. lol
I made whole grain pasta tonight for myself (the fam got linguini) and it was really quite tasty. It didn't have that horrible whole wheat taste that I remembered. I only made one serving and bulked it up with broccoli and zucchini. It was yummy goodness AND as a bonus; I am full on LESS! Gotta love volume eating!
I've been eating better and exercising. I even experimented with Roni's lemon poppy seed muffins. I made them and then experimented with different ingredients. I will post the recipes later if I think about it. I made orange cranraspberry, oatmeal apple spice, and almond sesame seed. (the measurements are mostly the same but I substituted the type of applesauce, yogurt, and extracts).
Okay, I've rambled enough... sorry! But, I'M BACK!!!!

Sorry just saw your post about my breakfast sandwiches. I actually get light english, either weight watchers, or store brand. I just make sure they are only 1 point. Then I get candian bacon, you usually can have 3 slices for 1 point. I also get egg whites (1/4 cup = 1 egg white) I cook the egg white in a pan and mix it with seasonings. I like mrs dash tomato with basil, there is also an herb one. It just gives the egg whites loads of flavor. I then get my laughing cow cheese, I love the french onion, cut it in half and use a half for each sandwich. Put the cheese on both sides of the toasted english muffin add the egg (one egg white for each sandwich) and the candian bacon to the english muffin. Then since everything is cooked I throw them in a sandwich baggie and take a sandwich every day. I just cook it in the microwave at work for like 30-45 seconds. The cheese is melty and the bacon seems to crisp a little bit. And I have almost an egg Mcmuffin for only 3 points! Hope you try it, I make them every sunday this way its one less thing I have to deal with when I am running around in the morning trying to get to work on time.

I read your post about not sleeping. Sometimes its the exercising that causes the lack of sleep. Plus the more you work out, the more energy you get, the less sleep you require. Just make sure you dont workout too late; give yourself some time to unwind from your day. Hey, if nothing else great job working out!

i used to go to the one on tramway and montgomery, but i don't do ww anymore, i use sparkpeople.com and count on blogs for my support! i live on the west side now
