Made through the weekend

I made it on track through the whole weekend. Which was a miracle, a family reunion on Saturday and cooked eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy for family on Sunday. I cooked their meals and then fixed mine. The reunion was tempting, chicken and dumplins, food food food! But I ate veggies and baked ham. No desserts! Still haven't hit a drive thru either. Wow I can't believe I am sticking to this. I think this blogging is helping.

Week one Weigh in!

Well I have a 11 pound loss for week one! Yippie! OMG that is so great 240-11=229 pounds! 89 to go! And I am still sticking to it. Still motivated. Usually it last a couple days and that is it. It must be the right time in life for me to do this. I am so HAPPY!

early weigh in

I know it is to early to weigh in, and I know most of it is water you loose in the beginning. But I have lost 10 pounds since Sunday! Wow 3 days! This gives me alot of incentive to keep it up. Even if it slows down! That is 10 less pounds.

Day One went good

So far day one has went good, Breakfast Oatmeal and sliced peaches, coffee Lunch Grilled chicken breast, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers. Water 8oz low sodium V-8 Snack Cherrio's with 2% milk So far I haven't gotten drousy today, hope I sleep good tonight. Been doing some cleaning today. I have a 4 hour class this evening. So I will eat before I go. 7/20/08 240

no support from hubby

I have tried to talk to my hubby about eatting healthier so I can loose weight, all he wants is bologna, sausage, hot dogs, luncheon meats etcs. His veggies is potatoes cooked anyway. Do I just buy healthy foods and let him deal with it. Or cook two meals at once? He seems not to care that I want to loose, just feed him and he is happy. It is too tempting to eat fatty foods when I cook meals for him. Maybe I need to trade him in lol, when I get this weight off!

Rhonda, You have support here! My husband is supportive of me loosing weight but I cook for him and me. I can relate to the potatoes. Keep up the good work! I have lost 55 #'s since Jan. and You can loose yours.

you should be ok just remember to stay true to your self the thing is you will have more convidence and those friends just might not know how to act around the new and inproved you

you are kind of like me found the site by joining ww have gone to meetings and got to my goal weight thought i could do on my own but here comes the weight my family isn't to interested either just fry that food so to really loose have to cook two meals that is ok some time but is sure tempting to eat the bad stuff have had a hard time on here finding some one closer to my age any way hope we can become friends and lose this darn old weight maybe we can lose those old men together
