Tomorrow I'm running a 5K. Maybe that will get me motivated to start running on a regular basis. It's hard to do it by yourself.
I weighed in Thursday and gained 2 pounds! Not sure why it was so much but I'm really focusing on the veggies this week. I hope I get better results next week.
Runmom - training for a full marathon is a huge commitment! It is a blast but you have to get the miles in. When you are ready, go for it.
My son is almost 2, we love to run. I am also trying to lose about 20 pounds. Training for a half-marathon this fall, I have done a couple, would love to do a full sometime, but not ready to commit to the training yet.
I'm relatively new to running outside on a regular basis. I live in Ohio so when the weather is rough (which is most of the time :-( ) I'm indoors on a treadmill. I have a quick question for you. Do you have any tips on how to keep yourself at a steady pace while running outside?
