I'm Megan and I'm 23 years old from NJ. I just graduated from Gallaudet University with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. I feel it's time for a new me to come out. I'm a weight watchers member and I love writing. So this is THE place. :)

WW all checked out at the library!!

i went to the library today to find more WW cookbooks so that i could make copies of some recipes than buying the whole thing. i was surprised to find that all the WW books were checked out! or in other libraries in the county. seems like WW is IN this season! food-wise, i'm doing good. getting the hang of 6 small meals. which is interesting because i always ate until i was semi full. this time, i'm just eating until i don't feel hungry anymore. then i'd stop until i start getting hungry again… Continue

no.yes.no.hmm.

no i did not go to the gym yesterday or today. yes i splurged my restriction when I went out with a friend for dinner tonight. argh. and yes i feel way guilty. goshhh- weekends are officially dangerous for me!! i saw someone's blog where she moved her weigh in days to fridays- not mondays. i think that is something i should try to change as well. damn scale.

Mom and I went to WW today. I bought a points calculator (i kept using the slider thing for years), dining out book and a WW magazine. While we were in line, we got the chance to see what the meeting looked like. Even though the leader seemed too perky for me, the meeting seemed fun. Would be great if they provided an interpreter. The scale was fixed and I got on it today and my weight was the same. I don't get it at all. First week, i gained 2lbs. This time around, i'm still 189. I eat 3 meals… Continue

just another ordinary day.

aunt flo did not come just yet. i just want her to come and go and get it over with! :) Today I went to beginner step class and i was kinda not into it. blahh. Almost got sick at the end. but i just kept on moving. Mom and I went to walmart afterwards to grab a few things. A few things turned into a lot of things. haha. I found out that Walmart has many selections of WW candies! So I got myself the peanut butter cups and double chocolate mousse. i'll save them when i am in desperate need for ch… Continue

a lesson learned.

my sore throat has been itching like crazy for the last two days. today it just got worse and i dont feel much like myself today. i didn't do the points thingy today. i know i was off by drinking juice all day and that kinda ruined by itself. then my throat needed soothing and since my dear "Auntie Flo" (TOM) is on her way to visit, i decided that a bit of ice cream would be niiiice. not to mention, that I did not eat much solid food today as well. Hi Megan, I'm doing WW too. It's great isn't it. You seem like an awesome person and you're doing well. I think you are totally getting it and you will lose the 20, just give it time.

Your 10% is just 10% of your body weight when you started ww. Since I weighed 180.5 my 10% is 18.5. :)

You are super sweet!! I do LOVE fashion and always try to keep my eyes peeled for awesome finds. Clothes from my posted pictures would be from Bebe, BCBG, Express, Charlotte Russe, and then a ton of local boutiques. Sometimes it can be a little pricey, but if it fits and looks awesome, I'll splurge every once in a while. And as you can see, I try to wear those "splurge" items as often as I can ;)
